Re: 4DO will not launch
Did you try the installer version of 4DO? It will install all the prerequisites needed to run 4DO.

Re: Anyone else have this issue?
I'd suspect there is something in your video drivers config that is saving battery on the video chipset as the screen goes off on lid close. Maybe 4DO could handle it better but the intel chipsets are notorious for having weird behaviors. Does this happen when on and off battery?

Re: Unable to swap disk 2 for Night Trap
I dont use retroarch but I think I know what is going on. If retroarch is using a different nvram save for each game, it is loading disc 2 with a blank nvram and therefore it doesnt have the save file that will allow you to continue playing disc 2. If this is the case, its a retroarch issue not 4DO....

Re: Corpse Killer game breaking bug + more
Were these bugs present in version 1.3.2.3? Or are they new to 1.3.2.4?

Re: Starfighter Audio Issues
I merged your threads. Perhaps you could record the audio difference between the two for comparison? I dont think much work if any has been done on the audio from the original open source freedo core to be honest. There are some bugs in DSP but most of them are minor annoyances.

Re: Unable to swap disk 2 for Night Trap
Disc changes on an actual 3do would reset the system. It should load the game from NVRAM once disc 2 boots up. I know it's weird, but that is the correct behavior of the system.

Re: Linux support
I can't really be of much help other than I know the 4DO emulator interfaces with the open source FreeDO core. I believe the Freedo core is not C# and maybe just C++. I would take the current source and see how 4DO interfaces with the FreeDO core and write your own interface to the core. I would use...

Re: What am I missing to avoid crashing?
is there a slimdx.dll in your folder? If so, good. If you installed slimdx from their website, uninstall it. It will put a file in your windows folder and it will use that instead of the one in your 4DO folder. If it's not the same version of the dll that the emulator is expecting, it will error out...
