Re: PLEASE HELP all I get is rolling lines for roms & bios
That is weird. I can't tell from the screen shot if you have double resolution rendering on or off since there is no 3d in that screen shot. It looks like you have smooth image resizing on, but that shouldn't be causing it at all. I am going to take a stab in the dark here and say that the image fil...

Or you can download this attached file, extract the .bat file from the zip archive to your 4DO directory and double click this file to run 4DO in Forced GDI mode.

Re: 1.3.1.1 Beta - Core updates
It was an idea at one time to look into possibly speeding things up using multiple cores, but I don't think it's that easily done. I don't think anyone has started to look into this yet. Not that I have heard. Things have been kinda slow regarding development lately.

Re: 1.3.1.1 Beta - Core updates
Some games are running too fast in the later revisions of this beta. Some of the changes fix some things while other things are broken in the process. Things have been kind of slow around here lately. Hopefully things will pick back up sooner or later. It hasn't been decided if these revision change...

Re: PLEASE HELP all I get is rolling lines for roms & bios
The GDI rendering doesn't use vsync though and is a little slower. If you want to figure out why dx9 rendering isn't working properly. I would make sure that you run the direct x installer again to make sure you have all the updates. I am glad you at least got it running with proper video output now.

Re: PLEASE HELP all I get is rolling lines for roms & bios
What bothers me is that screenshots are working properly. So that means internally, 4DO is rendering properly. I think something external to 4DO must be interfering with the video output. Have you ever installed any kind of direct x hacks or do you think that it is possible that anything is running ...

Re: PLEASE HELP all I get is rolling lines for roms & bios
I wonder if it's possible that your bios file is corrupted. I swear there is checks if the file is valid or not so that shouldn't be the case. But, I am truly running out of ideas here. That doesn't look like a rendering issue. That looks like it's emulating an issue that could happen on real hardwa...

Re: Sound Issue On XP32 With CDRom
There hasn't been much development because the devs are quite busy with their personal lifes right now. I can't say that it wont ever get looked into, but right now things are quite slow with 4DO. Maybe someday though.

Re: PLEASE HELP all I get is rolling lines for roms & bios
Are you able to use your vid card driver software to force vsync on or off for an app? I wonder if either way would fix the problem.
That error is likely because you are not loading from a cue file, that should be completely irrelevant to the problem.... should be at least.

Re: Sound Issue On XP32 With CDRom
With a machine like that, it's likely an issue with your burned discs or your DVD drive. That machine should not be struggling to keep up.
