Re: PLEASE HELP all I get is rolling lines for roms & bios

We never did figure out this problem. Other than what was mentioned above, I can only think of one other thing that might be it. Try setting your refersh rate to 60hz if possible and see if that clears it up.

Re: Sound Issue On XP32 With CDRom

I don't think there were any plans to look into improving CD reading from CD Drives. I don't really have any issues on either of my machines when reading from an actual disc. I am thinking it's a case of your CD drive not behaving when reading from burned discs or your computer isn't fast enough to ...

Re: Sound Issue On XP32 With CDRom

4DO is likely struggling trying to read from the CD Drive and keep up. 4DO runs much better when using CD images.

Re: 1.3.1.1 Beta - Core updates

The link for Revision 6 has expired, so I am re-posting the archive here on the forum. Just like the orginal archive, the folder in the archive says 4.1 but it is indeed 6.

Re: Linux / Wine compatability

That is completely weird that it lets you set keys, but then they don't recognize when you use them. I really don't know what to do about something like that. Hopefully you can figure it out or someone has an answer.

Re: Linux / Wine compatability

all dependencies are listed on the downloads page with proper links to download them. http://www.fourdo.com/downloads/ 1. Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Runtimes 2. Microsoft .NET 4 Framework Client Profile 3. Microsoft DirectX SlimDX is also needed but is included with FourDO so that shouldn't be the is...

Re: 1.3.1.1 Beta - Core updates

I haven't played those 2 games enough to know if the FMV Sync left on creates any side effects. I didn't notice any in my short tests. If I knew the games better I would try to figure them out. I have a lot going on right now though so I don't have enough time right now to better answer this question.

Re: 1.3.1.1 Beta - Core updates

Viktor, that Lost Eden fix still gives me problems trying to boot. I am not so sure why I have so many problems with this game. Maybe it would be best to isolate it to it's own seperate game fix. Johnny, There is really only two games the FMV Sync helps right now. It stops the repeating of phrases i...

Re: 1.3.1.1 Beta - Core updates

Lost Eden booted on my Vista 32bit machine after about 15-20 minutes. I have been running 4DO on my win7 64bit machine and it has been running for about an hour. The counter is at 55,000,000. It never did boot after an hour. Could this be an issue only happening on 64-bit machines? But still, 15-20 ...

Re: 1.3.1.1 Beta - Core updates

I did have FMV Sync off. I usually do not turn it on except for The Horde and Wing Commander 3. I tried to boot Lost Eden again today. I couldn't boot the game. I used the FZ-10 BIOS, with and without rom2. I tried using a clean NVRAM. I tried using a virtual CD drive. I tried turning up the CPU Clo...
