I downloaded the most recent update of the emulator.
When I tried opening it for the first time it said that the .NET Framework wasn't installed so I installed version 4.0 from Microsoft's website.
I tried restarting my computer and everything after .NET was installed and when I try to activate
Fourdo I get an instant "Fourdo has encountered a problem and needs to close" message.
When I click on the details of the error i get this information:
EventType : clr20r3 P1 : 4do.exe P2 : 1.3.1.0 P3 : 4fcad827
P4 : 4do P5 : 1.3.1.0 P6 : 4fcad827 P7 : 459 P8 : 38
P9 : system.io.filenotfoundexception
I am running Windows XP SP3 Home Edition with an AMD Athlon II X2 255 Dual-core processor clocked at 3.11 GHz, 3.25 GB of RAM.
Does anyone know what this is and why it's happening?
Thanks!
Fourdo has encountered a problem and needs to close?
Re: Fourdo has encountered a problem and needs to close?
Did you get to the part where you select a bios file? Try deleting your settings file and re-select your bios. I think I have seen this error when the BIOS image is invalid.
Otherwise, did you try installing 4DO using the installer? It is the best way to make sure you have all the necessary things installed to run 4DO
The three things 4DO needs if you use the zip file distribution are...
1. Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Runtimes http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/de ... px?id=5555
2. Microsoft .NET 4 Framework Client Profile http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/de ... x?id=17113
3. Microsoft DirectX http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=35
