4DO and low resolutions

Postby theelf » Thu Jul 31, 2014 10:32 am

Hi! new here, greetings

I have a PC connected to a TV CRT, using VGA>RGB cable, and 15khz output

There is a way to output original resolution? 4do always switch to 640x480, but i want to use, 320x240 in games that are this resolution

Thanks!

Hello, i'm new to this and just joined so I'm not able to help much, sorry, but 640x480 (standard NTSC) is the default resolution of the system and I think the smaller rez you are looking for is only done through this emulator :(

Hi! thank you very much for your answer

I believe that the 3DO output 240p on games like Super Street Fighter 2, when there is no reason to output interlaced

But now, after reading your reply, I connect the 3DO, and check again in my CRT, and you are right... is interlaced, even on 2d low res games...

Wow, not a nice machine for 2D stuff...

Thanks anyway
