Hi John, listen, I immediately thought there was. What if the filters are tied to the emulsion? not only to interpolate, as well as 2sai, etc.
After all, the picture quality would be dramatically improved, and visually it would be nicer to play well. Think about it please.

Best regards Sedabi

I think you'll be able to create one is. Moreover, the filters are free to the network. You just need to connect them.

I am concentrating on more important tasks, to the best of my capabilities to prioritize my time. I think it is theoretically possible, and not too hard, but it would take time to put into place.

I do not have an estimate as to when I would work on this, so I would not expect to see this unless someone else contributes it.

Introduction to Filter, it is also very important task. Since it will add interest to your emulator. Well, the solution of this problem itself is not difficult (your quote). Therefore, it would be good to see progress for example in a couple of weeks.
I think this will be enough time even to the novice programmer.
Sincerely Sedabi.

I was under the assumption that graphic filters are good for 2D only. If they were applied to a game that uses 3D (even thought it is done in software mode), wouldn't alot of artifacts and abnormalities appear?

Filters are used for a long time, not only on the NES and Sega systems (CD). as well as on the Nintendo 64 emulator, sony ps, the Sega Saturn.
Quality in 3D games just fine, no artifacts.
When the filter of this type, the picture looks clearer and more pleasant to the eye.

Recorded a video about the filtering. Video recording was made using Kamtasiya studio. The emulator SSF (Sega Saturn). At the moment, this is the most demanding emulator and it works only with software processing the video output.
In general, look and compare.
PS It can be seen as I have included a filter and disable them.
