Bummer, but I suspected this would be true. I don't have another trick to pull (unless I get a controller like that), but if you happen upon a driver-related solution or something, I'd be happy to know!

Glad to hear it worked!

No donations necessary, I'll just request that you update the Compatibility List (http://wiki.fourdo.com/index.php?title=Compatibility_List) if you've been trying out any games.

Sure thing! Anything to help out.. and thanks once again!

I just did a little testing on my laptop. It seems that my issue may indeed be oddly driver-related.

My desktop, where I have the issue, is using special 360 controller drivers called XBCD. They allow for customisation of just about everything, including the controller deadzones, turning the triggers into simple buttons, and so on. It's magnificent and extremely useful, really, especially when you still play flight sims, but your last joystick died ages ago. Problem is, as I said, 4DO doesn't like these drivers.

On my laptop however, an aging netbook, 4DO and my controller got along BEAUTIFULLY using Microsoft's drivers. No issues whatsoever, all button presses detected and programmed as set 2 for player 1.

I'm not sure what it is about XBCD that is causing such conflict with 4DO, but I did at least figure out that Microsoft's stock drivers work a-ok. I hope this helps somewhat, although I can't say how many people here use XBCD drivers with their 360 wired/wireless controllers. Thank you.

I've got a Wireless 360 controller that I use with Windows Vista(64-bit), that works fine with 4DO 1.2.0.2

Some pc games use DirectInput which works with all controllers and some ONLY use XInput, which was designed for the 360 controller.

Anyway XBCD was originally designed to let people use Xbox 1 controllers with pc's rather than 360 pads, which were added later. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbcd

Also see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xinput#Dir ... _vs_XInput

So with DirectInput, Holding LT and RT down fully is the same as holding neither down, or at least that's what Game Controllers in Control Panel is showing me, Z axis staying in the middle.

This is great to know, thank you! I think that definitely explains the behavior. Back when I had a 360, I remember Batman: Arkum Asylum for the PC only worked with my 360 controller. This would explain why.
