First of all, thank you very much for your beautiful 3DO emulator!!! It's better than FreeDO (which I've been using since the very 1st release) and more user-friendly.

Now I would like to ask you if we can dream to see 4DO merged into the MESS project someday. Since I use MESS for almost every system (NES, SNES, MEGADRIVE, SATURN, A2600, APPLEII+, EXPERT, IBM PCs, among other), I really would like to have an working 3DO driver there as well. I know there's a skeleton driver for the 3DO in MESS but it's not currently working.

It would be great to see the 3DO working in MESS.

I can't speak for Johnny directly here... I will say that I don't know of any plans of helping put the 4DO code into MESS. 4DO is open source though. Anyone can take a look at the code on the sourceforge page. 4DO is actually based on the FreeDO source code which is open source too. There have been compatibility modifications to the FreeDO core that is in the 4DO source code. If someone wanted to attempt to update the 3DO driver in MESS, all the sources are open.
