Game by game 4DO Settings

It would be very convenient to have 4DO config settings saved and loaded game by game. (Scaling Mode, Clock Speed, Audio Buffer.)
Also, if a particular game doesn't specifically rely on a 12.5 MHz timing, is there any reason not to just overclock to max clock speed?
