Strangely 4do doesnt start.

I think you need to download the Segoe UI font if you don't already have it.
If you do already have it, try changing your windows theme temporarily to see if starts using classic theme.

Yikes. That's a bad bug. How did you figure that out? I wasn't aware choosing a particular font could cause this. I will change this to Arial.

As far as I remember, I just read the original post, then googled Segoe UI and found the availability part on Wikipedia stating it got introduced in Windows Vista

As for changing the theme to classic, I found somebody else with more or less the same problem as the OP, on a forum for a different program where doing that solved it.
