Which controllers work with 4DO without issues?

I am thinking of buying a controller to use with 4DO but I am not sure which one to get as scouring through threads it seems that some have issues with assigning buttons with 4DO.

Any recommendations?

Most problems came about when trying to use Xbox360 type controllers, i think that was fixed though.... (can't remember). Any controller that is for PC should work.

My Xbox controller for PC came in the mail yesterday and it works great with with 4DO.

I am using it to play Space Hulk: Vengeance of the Blood Angels.

XBOX 360 controllers seem to work okay. The PS4 controller (with and without DS4) seems to work good too.

All of my controllers work fine with 4DO.
